    These cases are designed have the clionician identify 1) the current condition after assessment, and 2) how to manage the condition. It follows a choose your own adventure style approach.

HOW DO THE CASES & SKILL DRILLS WORK?

STEP 1

ASSESS YOUR PATIENT

On our INITIAL ASSESSMENT page, you can explore various assessment approaches, including Images, Labs, Patient History, Monitoring Equipment, and a full ABCDE assessment. Once you think you know the diagnosis, you click the DIAGNOSIS button.

STEP 2

MAKE THE DIAGNOSIS

Once you have gathered all the information, you'll need to make the DIAGNOSIS. Choose from the all the common conditions seen in that body system.

STEP 3

MANAGE/TREAT YOUR PATIENT

The next phase of the GPS Cases is the management phase. You will be provided questions from a virtual preceptor. You'll answer the questions by selecting from answer options or typing in the answer. Get questions correct, you move on. Get questions wrong, you'll get immediate REMEDIATION.

STEP 4

REMEDIATE (only if needed)

If you get questions wrong, then you will leave the main case into a REMEDIATION LOOP where you'll be given a microlecture on the missed content. Therefore, you only get lectures on the content you need.
